Uncharted 3, the sequel to 2009’s Game of the Year, seems the most likely considering not only the series’ popularity but its absence in the new sphere for quite a while. Many other titles that would be huge surprises include anything from the next God of War to some in-game footage from the next Resistance title; it’s really up for grabs with only a vague picture to go by.

With E3 so far away and the increasingly competitive nature of the market, it was only a matter of time before substantial game reveals began taking place year round. Not only would this new trend keep the gaming public guessing but it would allow titles to build buzz at several points during the year rather than only at a few conventions.

One day earlier, gamers will have plenty to salivate over as the VGAs are set to deliver both a BioWare game reveal and new material for Batman: Arkham City as well. While everyone is out picking up the hot titles from this year they will have some new info on the titles that will be fighting for their attention next holiday season.

Speculation could go all day as to what this title could be, but luckily for us a lot of the big name franchises Sony has made popular, like Metal Gear Solid and Final Fantasy, already have titles in the works, eliminating some of the guesswork. No matter what is revealed, keep your eyes glued to Game Rant on December 12th for first word on the announcement.
