RELATED: Charts Show How Much Value PS5 Users Got from PS Plus This Year

That’s not a bad deal at all, especially since it will net PS Plus subscribers an entire year’s worth of free games. Typically, PS Plus gives away three free games every month - two PS4 games and one PS5 game - but sometimes there’s even more than three free games released for the service. For example, the free PS Plus games for November 2021 included the usual three free games along with three bonus PlayStation VR games as a way to celebrate the hardware’s fifth anniversary.

Sony has not announced the free PS Plus games for December 2021 at the time of this writing, but the announcement will likely come in a matter of days. Typically, Sony announces the free PS Plus games on the last Wednesday of every month, but the free PS Plus games for December 2021 are an exception. Since the first Tuesday of December isn’t until December 7 (the free PS Plus games are added on the first Tuesday each month), Sony likely isn’t going to reveal the free PS Plus games for December until Wednesday, December 1.

While Sony itself has not confirmed the free PS Plus games for December 2021, a reliable source has potentially let the cat out of the bag early. The site Dealabs may have leaked the free PS Plus games for December 2021, and if the leak is accurate, it looks like PS Plus subscribers can look forward to the likes of Godfall, Mortal Hell, and LEGO DC Super-Villains being the free games for December 2021.

Of course, PS Plus subscribers should always take leaks with a grain of salt and wait for the official announcement. In the meantime, anyone that needs to re-up their PS Plus subscription can do so at a discount while the Cyber Monday deals are available.
