Providence head coach Ed Cooley has not revealed the actual infraction that led to the pair's suspension, but issued this statement:
"We hold our student-athletes to very high standards. We are disappointed in some of the choices that Brandon and Rodney have made. Due to this, we have decided to suspend them indefinitely from any game action."
Austin, a four-star recruit known as a dynamic scorer and ESPN Top-100 player of out Philadelphia, Pa., was expected to contribute immediately this season for the Friars.
Bullock, a small forward from Hampton, Va., was a three-star recruit known for his rebounding prowess.
