Revealed at CES, the new Trova Home is lightweight, made from premium materials, and can be attached to any surface for added security.
How Secure Is the Trova Home Really?
It’s fair to say that the Trova Home is ultra-secure. It uses Bluetooth and Wi-Fi to only let approved users access the box by either face ID or fingerprint.
There’s a tamper-proof design and you’ll get notifications if anyone tries to fiddle with it.
The entire unit is sealed to odors and it has a humidity sensor so you can make sure the box’s contents are not getting damaged by moisture.
Here is how founder Jonell Loeppert described the new product to the press:
In addition to any secretive things you want to keep hidden, the box is perfect for passports, jewelry, cash, and other high-value items.
This new 2021 version also adds new “tap to open functionality,” meaning users get gain instant access by tapping their phone rather than first having to open the official Trova app.
Inside the compartment, you will find two USB charging ports and a sliding tray that can sit atop the larger space underneath.
The device will ship in Q2 2021. You can pre-order one now on the Trova website.
