Nick Aldis is one of the top-tier performers in the National Wrestling Alliance, which is why he holds the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. He has been a mainstay of the promotion since 2017, but Aldis didn’t hesitate to disclose whether he was an independent performer working with NWA or a salaried employee.

The former Impact World Champion also clarified why he didn’t join All Elite Wrestling when the company offered him a contract earlier this year.
Aldis also highlighted how not every wrestler can achieve a top spot in a promotion. He added that if a wrestler were to jump ship and try out their luck in another company, they shouldn’t be criticized in response.
